Renaissance means 'rebirth' so basically this is my vision of Africa being reborn in prosperity embracing its past and future, hence the celebrations. I used a lot of symbolism meaning the use of symbols to represent ideas for example the birds represent war and peace...  The rest I leave to your interpretation...

I painted this on my biggest canvass yet and it was tasking but enjoyable, mainly because of time constraints and other external factors. I'm glad its completed and feel its an accomplishment. There will be better to come but I'm patting myself on the back just in case no one will...
